Competition rules

Competitors can choose their own pieces, as long as they are within 10 minutes in length.
Competitors will be penalised if their performance runs over this time.
Competitors must send two copies of their music, including the accompaniment, one of which must be the original, to Rhiannon Davies, to arrive no less than 2 weeks before the eisteddfod.
Please put your name and competition number on all music. The original will be returned to you and any copies destroyed after the event to comply with the Copyright Act.
The winning choir will receive a monetary prize and adjudication. There are no preliminaries for the choir competition.

This year’s adjudicator is Fflur Wyn.

All competitors receive monetary prize and written adjudications.
Visitors are very welcome to attend the preliminary competitions, as well as the evening concert where the finalists compete at the Methodist Church, Castle Street, Abergavenny NP7 5EH
Photographs will be taken and may be used for publicity purposes.
