Limerick. As last year we're setting the third line of a limerick instead of the first. Here it is: ‘From the look on her face'. Please feel free to make small changes (as long as the metre is preserved) such as replacing 'From' with 'But' or 'Though' . The pronoun can also be modified to ‘his' or ‘their' (with 'faces') for example.

The titles/themes below are for both Primary pupils and Secondary students. There are cashprizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for each of the following: Years 1&2, 3&4,5&6, 7-11 and 12-13 (Closing date 18 May 2011)
The theme for Art, Poetry and Prose (competitions 46 - 60) is: Welsh tales (can be imaginary or re-telling tales such as Gelert, Merlin, Gwion and the witch, or from the Mabinogi)
Art: Welsh Tales (any form)
Poetry: Welsh Tales (not more than 20 lines)
Prose: Welsh Tales (not more than 500 words)
Photography: Churches (single black and white or colour print)
